Happy 2015!!! What's all the BUZZZ about this year??

Truly a very Happy New Year to everyone!  

There are a lot of folks with bees in their bonnets about where the best places are in which to live and invest in Santa Barbara County.

South County. No one could go wrong with a purchase in Santa Barbara in any of the neighborhoods one could not go wrong with a purchase in Santa Barbara in any of the neighborhoods.  It seems each neighborhood in the main corridors like San Roque, Samarkand, The Mesa, The Funk Zone, and Downtown have all done really well in turning the communities into gathering places to meet new friends; stay in touch & reconnect with old friends.  New restaurants, coffee houses, wine tasting rooms, bakeries, breweries & boutiques are within walking distance of many residential neighborhoods.

North County. Then why is there a buzz also about a little one horse town called Los Alamos?  This small town is located 45 minutes north of Santa Barbara and 10 minutes north of Los Olivos and over 2 hours from Los Angeles.  Well, it seems that a lot of folks from Los Angeles want to actually escape the crowds, pass over the ever popular Santa Barbara and Los Olivos lifestyles for the simpler, slower pace of Los Alamos.  If you blink while going north or south on the 101 you may miss it.   Prices are still affordable; new wine tasting rooms, bakeries, weekend events, antique shops and art galleries have much to offer.  Go to https://www.facebook.com/VisitLosAlamosCA for more information.  Soon everyone will know about Los Alamos!  If you want to invest in this community, I recommend doing it sooner than later!  I haven't even mentioned what the buzz is about Solvang and Santa Ynez but more on that later!  This queen bee has got to get busy.

I absolutely appreciate all of our communities.  I have lived in Santa Barbara County since 1970. Santa Barbara/Goleta from 1970-2007 and then moved 30 minutes north to the wine country, to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley in 2007.  My knowledge enables me to help Buyers from Santa Barbara to the Santa Ynez Valley.  I am thankful I have had the opportunity to have sold residential properties, apartment buildings, hotels, restaurant buildings and office buildings to many other busy bees!  Let's face it, our area is not very large and with low inventory on the market, it is easy to watch all markets!!  I love to solve a problem and help people realize their real estate goals, whatever that may be.
